Cheryl, I think it's parrotfish poop. ;) Maybe they're high and it's floating down. There are sure a lot of them in that area.

Glad to know I'm not the only one without a clue -- I choose to believe it's parrotfish poop. Raining here, and I'm making hash marks on the wall -- 26 days to go!

By Cheryl Kopitzke (BonaireTalker - Post #48) on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 4:36 pm: |
Jeroen, I thought it was going to be divers, but all I saw were the bubbles. Phantom Divers! Any ghost stories to tell about that wreck?
|
By steven hoffman (BonaireTalker - Post #48) on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 4:36 pm: |
I have my little my little wall hash marks also, but at 154 days, it's looking like a forest
|
By Cheryl Kopitzke (BonaireTalker - Post #49) on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 4:38 pm: |
Well, in 5 weeks I'll be back at work and looking at a universe of hash marks!

OK, after looking at the photos, counting the days, down to 7 now. I have to ask....where is the underwater cam located?
|
By Cheryl Kopitzke (BonaireTalker - Post #51) on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 5:54 pm: |
The ReefCam is mounted in approximately 60 feet of depth on a private mooring located due west of the pier at Eden Beach (the one you see on the South Beach cam), facing the wreck of the yacht Bakanal.
|
By Kathy Hall (Extraordinary BonaireTalker - Post #1119) on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 5:54 pm: |
Hi Mitch, you lucky dog. lol The u/w cam is in front of Eden Resort and Bongos. Just off the pier. You can just follow the cables down to it. Not far out at all.
|
By Cheryl Kopitzke (BonaireTalker - Post #52) on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 6:03 pm: |
Mitch, there is a map at this URL: Eden Beach is no. 28

Barbara, I'm okay, just counting the days to Bon . . . I lost my father last year after a long series of hospitalizations and surgeries and I know how hard it all is. So sorry you have to bear it. But it's nice having scenes like this to distract . . .

By Wietse Lam (Experienced BonaireTalker - Post #171) on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 6:57 pm: |
Rieseling doesn't give you a headache or hangover (if you drink less than 3 bottles...) I know a German man who makes that kind of whine, it is great!

Thanks to all that replied giving the location of the reef cam. Should be easy to find if I don't get distracted by so much else to see. That's been the problem on the last trips, too much to see........too little time!
