My wife and I are arriving on Bonaire on a Sunday night in June. By the time we get our vehicle and then complete our condo orientation tour (Belnem area) it will probably be about 9:30 or so. Assuming that we might be ready for a drink or two and a light snack before going to bed, what are your recommendations? I thought we were pretty familiar with Bonaire but after not having been there in 10 years and not recognizing the vast majority of the restaurant names in the dining reviews, it looks like things have changed quite a bit since our last visit...

Pasa Bon Pizza is open till 11pm. A lot of places close at 10pm, so don't wait too long. I'm sure others will chime in with other places that are open later than 10pm.

What about the restaurant in Belnem; Roomers, I think is the name? I think at one time they were open late.

I admit I'm pretty OCD about this, but I have a dehydrator at home. I make and dehydrate a nice marinara sauce and pack it, along with some pasta and a bottle of some favored refreshment. I can cook the pasta, hydrate the sauce and pour the refreshment in the time it takes to unpack, and we don't worry about restaurants closing if we get their late. I guess you do have to be staying somewhere with a kitchen....

Julios is open late. They saved us once when my husband and nephew arrived at almost midnight. I wish I knew their actual closing time, but I don't. Sorry.

Downtown by Papagayo. It is on the corner where you exit from the one way through the shopping area. Yes, one day I will learn street names.

Thanks for the response - if we are hungry then it looks like pizza (and I don't think you can't ever go wrong with pizza!). How about if we just want a beer and a glass of wine? Do the hotel bars, like at Captain Don's or the Divi, typically stay open later or do they close early on Sundays? Any recommendations for a casual drink and maybe a little conversation on a Sunday night?

Lee's Bar as well. It is more like a sports bar if not mistaken? Side street off town.
