Thanks for the replies to another post of mine about the new place at the "sushi bar location".

nafl 5.00 is a bit more than double the price the locals pay in their hangouts!!! no further comment ....

That's what I thought Pietri - it sounded kind of steep to me.

Unless it's a Bright...they're usually +/- 5 fls. Other bars nearby (seaside/downtown) are charging fls 4+ for Polars.

My guess is there may be some agreement with Karel's to have the same prices for the beers but...yeah, 5 naf is not cheap but I guess it's quite normal to ask this in a commercial place like Karel's or City (unfortunately).

We spent a lot of time at Fannies a couple of weeks back, Vicky and Lou were super-friendly and the mango daquiries sneak up on you like barracuda's - Jessie is also one of the nicest bar dogs you'll ever meet. We used to go to Karel's pre-Omar but it seems to have gone all a bit high-end now so tried Fannies. Loved it, I just wish Karel's wouldn't insist on playing music so loud you can hear it in Curacao!

Does anyone know are the drinks homemade or using Oasis or a pre mix?
|
By Mike Thompson (BonaireTalker - Post #12) on Monday, December 14, 2009 - 6:25 pm: |
They use pre-mixes but each day's batch is freshly made up...you won't be disappointed
