Have fun, Bob!! Are you trying to go diving in between watching the kids and other vacation stuff??

It's going to be a long trip (5000 km?). There are so many things to see. So no diving I guess, although my oldest daughter is certified.

5000 km = 3100 miles. That's not so bad. LOL From MA to CA in a car full of kids. As my homeboy Seuss would say: Oh the places you'll see!

Three weeks to see the left coast, not really enough time. You should be able to see a good chunk of it. That sounds like a wonderful trip. One piece of advice minimize your time around LA and Vegas, any direction from there is so much nicer. Spend some time in the desert, it's good for the soul and it's beauty grows with time. Don't miss Yellowstone/Grand Tetons (by dawn for best photos), Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Zion.

Have a wonderful trip, Bob! Take lots of pictures to share with us when you return. The coastline is breathtaking. As are all of the places folks have listed here. Bon Voyage!! Carole
