I am going for 11 days in April and 14 days in August. Any tips on sites that work both ways? My only trip to Bonaire before was without kids and/or non divers so most of it was spent diving. The next trips will have either non divers or kids with SASY gear.

We travel with two snorkelers so usually look for sites that work for both. We have found that Andrea I and II, Windsock, Oil Slick Leap and La Dania to Karpata work for all of us. I am sure there are more and I know that Jesse Armacost's book and the site www.shorediving.com are also helpful for finding sites to suit both.

I am a snorkeler (by default) and go with my husband on most dives. I even snorkeled Hilma Hooker several times last April, although I don't recommend it as a snorkel site unless you stay in the shallows. The visibility was so great that I could see the wreck and watch the divers. My daughter and I enjoy playing in the divers' bubbles. Capt. Don's Dive Masters were always helpful pointing out seahorses and other small creatures for me to view from the surface. We'll be there, again, the first half of April.
