The STCB just announced the first confirmed turtle nesting of the season.

Also STCB is organizing the yearly shore/beach cleanup for Klein Bonaire on May 12th. The cleanup targets plastic and regular trash plus large debris that might get in the way of a nesting turtle such as wooden palettes, tires, wood planks. Many of the local dive operators supply boat transportation for participants as well as hauling the garbage back to the Town Pier for proper disposal. Everybody is welcome to participate. Participants should wear sturdy bottom shoes and lots of sun screen!
