Martine, We were thinking of taking some fins to Cyprus with us, and no, no, no, you won't get me under the water just yet. We go in two weeks. Annie B.

Annie what are you doing for a mask? Far and away the most critical piece of gear. If you do not have a good fitting mask snorkling can be a real pain either by leaking or being uncomfortable. I always tell people get a good mask and cheap fins.

Cecil Trev bought me a new mask and snorkel, we took the advice from the guy in our local dive shop as to which type to get. The snorkel has a separate channel so if water gets in, you don't breathe it in. I think I got that right. I only do this on holiday, so cheap or borrowed fins will do as long as they fit. Annie B.

Hi Annie!
Great 2 hear u've got holiday plans. Sounds like something u need right now.
4 your fins I would go with Cecil's advice: good mask, cheap fins. The only places where dive-booties (and fins with straps) are "needed" 2 snorkel are places like Bonaire were you have to walk across coral-rubble 2 get in the water.

Right, Barb, Hotlips is lurking. By the way, we still have some fishes to name on the reefcam dwellers webpage. I think we'll have some autumn job, when everybody is back from vacation.
Cecil, if you are still there... Jean Paul prefered to make a CDRom istead of DVD cause we are in PAL system here and you wouldn't have been able to see it colorized because of NTSC system in USA. Only problem, you can only see it from a fast puter ( with sound card ), but as it is DVD quality, maybe you can arrange somebody to fix it on a pal system DVD.
I'm going to bed now, not already the time to sleep, but I want to read a while and relax. Cheese soufflé was too good :o)
Catch you tomorrow or later, depends...

Is that when they replace your blood by caffeïne???

I just love the 19-06-03 shot : the chair is just calling out for me !!!
You can park your "bright" right next to me , take a load off your feet .

What did the 15-08 signs said?
Cant read them, seems to be a little more difficult with the new cam position.

Looks like they say "I Love You Mom" and something Chinese. Yes, bigger signs people!!! The one I took was 2' X 3' - you couldn't miss me. 2 minutes in front of the street cam makes a person feel real goofy. I have my new sign in the works for my Feb trip. Laminating is a wonderful thing, stuffs real good in the dive bag then you can take it to the reef cam too.
