Hi everybody, and a special thought to Carmen and Cecil who must probably be as stressed as I am.
I just needed a break :o) , so many things to do and not to forget... I can't find back two Jean Paul's bermudas, he must have forgoten in Australia...
I think my head will brust out.
I am just thinking tomorrow night I will enjoy the nice Bonaire sunset, it helps to feel cooler.
Jake is the Whale shark back ? Must be lurking along Klein Bonaire by now. Tell him we have an appointment next week.
Well, I am going back packing, I am just staying around.

Hi Eileen, still the eastern early bird. Good morning.
Thanks for sharing the stress ! It helps.
I found back JP's bermudas. He "stored" them, he said on the phone. No comment.
Everything is gathered on the bed, then I only have to arrange in the suitcase.
It's already time for lunch here. Have a nice day. Week end is just around the corner. Hang on.

Eileen, thank you for the excitement. I am always excited for people too when they get to go to Bonaire.

I didnt' think about it until last night, my dive gear is black and lime green. My fins are green and green on my bc. That may help find us when we are at the cams.....Gotta run too....Talk soon

Hi, morning Kerri and Carmen,
I will follow Carmen. Here's some tips to recognize us underwater.
Jean paul and I are dressed in black. Full diving suits. Our fins are grey with black stripes and our BCD in black with yellow stripes along the pockets and labelled BEUCHAT. My mask is all transparent, Jean paul's one is dark grey ( looks like a wolfe...). At last you can't miss my blond pony tail and Jean paul is bald-headed ! He will hold his camera housed in a squared transparent box.

Hi Jos, LOL,
Thanks for the special thread.
Well, I am seing the end of the tunnel. Still remaining the first aid box which includes a great quantity of aspirin, nose spray and ears drops, and I am over :o)
I decided to quit smoking tomorrow. I had already quited last year but returned when Jean Paul left to Australia. It's terrible how I need to smoke when I suffer a great stress. You never get rid of it. A coleague of mine returned after 14 years.
Fortunately, all planes are non smoker, it helps, and you can't smoke underwater, it helps too. So go diving if you want to quit smoking :o)
How still on the cams today.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHH
touchy subject Martine!!!

I quit smoking some odd 8 years ago. Was living in a cloud , you might say. Lighted up about 70 cigarettes a waking day, going out add an extra 40 .
So , here are some tips from an expert:
promise yourself you can smoke wenn you really cant stop , and then don't : not now , later.
do the same thing in the evening , don't smoke today. start tomorrow , and then don't.
Every time you really want a smoke , have a glass of water , not to cold. In a few hours you will spend most of your time on the toilet or going to the toilet .
Consider it an old friend that left, or died.
good memories/ bad memories but gone anyway.

And number one reason for quitting smoking: it will restore over 40% of your ability to smell and taste !!
totally off topic , I know so I will post a randomly chosen pic to bridge it back to the webcams.

(this is jake!!!, so you know who to look for!!!)

good captures jos! martine, another good reason to quit...your life...a very dear friend of mine quit smoking 15 years ago, and 7 months ago they found a "spot" on his lung...he has been through chemo, radiation...and now on experimental protocals (iressa)...hoping to add a couple of extra months to his life...when talking to him he coughs a LOT, it is now not only in his lungs, but in his bones...lung cancer is one of the deadliest there is, with a very very low survival rate...

Thanks for the tips JOS?
I am not such the hard smoker you were. 20 cigarettes in two days and ultra light, but I have been smoking from age 18 and I am 54.
Ok, I had a first 4 years break, then another two years break, a third one year break...
Jean paul is an EX smoker, so I am not allowed to smoke home !
Anyway, I know I will feel better, recover smell and taste and gain some extra kilos I don't need. This is my worse worry. Well, I'll exercise o lot when on Bonaire and try to eat salads and fish instead of hamburgers and icecreams at Cozzoli's.
I recognize this pic of Jake, it has been a great fun when posted... Anyway, I already met Jake ( without knowing who he was ) last year at Divi during the Dive festival. I became a B.Ter when returning home.
I am finished now, just need to water the plants and relax before Jean Paul is back from work.

Hi Cynde, Hi Margarite,
Thanks for the help. I know about this, a good friend of mine died of lung cancer last summer.
Margarite, we'll stay at the Dive Inn this time, as the Divi was full. But we'll kepp diving at the Divi with Serge. Both hotels are very close.
I think we'll have a studio, so we can cook ( salads and fish ugh :o) )

Martine I know just where that is. I've considered staying there myself. There is a really easy entry for shore diveing. A short staircase to the beach, wall to gear up on, a nice swim platform for relaxing in the sun. Should be absolutely awesome!

martine , ( haven't found a smiley yet that does "evil grinn" ) I've hid the "e" under your "P"
and then gave it to margarite to use it as an extra in her "diveing".
LOL.

Babs, the chubby thing reminds me of a comedy :
a stand up comedian recalls a conversation he overheard;
"I can't stop smoking , I tried everything "
"did you try hypnoses?"
"yes , but then I only forgot that I was smoking so I burned my fingers"
"did you try needles ( acupuncture) ? "
"no , the thought scared me so I had to smoke even more"
" did you try these Nicotine replacing plasters"?
"No , no smoking will just make me fat"

the comedian groant ; turned around to the people talking and shouted:
"THEN WHY DON'T YOU JUST TAPE THE DARN THING OVER YOUR MOUTH"???!!!!
