Thanks Virginia.....awesome!!!
Can also really identify with your 747 story. Had one fly over while I was snorkeling at 18 Palm Beach..what a scare...and then what a sight!!!
From the home we rented you could see that sometimes planes made a sharp turn immediately after take off, coming really close to the top of Seru Largo. So we went there when one of our team members left, to enjoy the view and to check out what that looked like..if it was really that close. We could see right through the plane as it flew by. Really cool experience.

My husband picked up all his UW pix today after work - 9 rolls' worth. Boy he got some beauties. The dry-land pix should be ready tomorrow. We didn't get any of these on disk because of the way we share prints in our group, but I'll get a couple of the terrific ones scanned & post.

I think the camera must pick up a lot more of the intricacies of the light, as in the picture above. Every sunset we watched while on-island was nice, but nothing compared to what I see on the webcam!

Virginia - got the dive site book yesterday - and what a great map - I was busy orienting myself with the special places - Small Wall, the approximate site of the street cam, the food store, the liquor store! I've mailed you a check - you should have it by tomorrow or Monday.

Thanks Gail - you are going to have a terrific time! Wish I could turn around and go right back... :-) ...our next planned trip is to St. Croix for golf, probably won't be diving again until next winter. Sigh!

It's always hard going through the "dry times". I think this year we may actually get a chance to get wet after Bonaire - in the fall in Florida. Not sure yet because Hubby wants to get 2 boat shows in - in 10 days!
