Yep, Rusty, I made it there. Great meal. I had the kimchi chigae (if I remember the spelling). A fun way to wind up the day of seminars, and a nice prelude to the film festival that night. Of course after all that exposure to dive stuff it's no fun being stuck in front of a computer. Sort of a mild PBD syndrome. Maybe it's time to break open the piggy bank (acceptable now that pig day is past) and see whether Bonaire could be in my future. Looks like the Black Durgon might fit my budget and still leave me enough for film. Anyone have any feedback on staying there?

It's the new BATMAN scuba mask and ears. Very cool! Do you remember where you were when you took that shot?

LOVE your friends, bet they're stubborn, tho!

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Kevin Mac on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 - 1:20 pm:     Edit PostPrint Post

No they're not cat ears, and it's not a BATMASK.. Thank you very much..

I didn't catch the coral formation behind me. I had to look at it for a minute to see what you're talking about. The mask is color correcting and it works great.

I think it was South Bay off of Klein.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Rusty Clark on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 - 1:37 pm:     Edit PostPrint Post

If you can set your jpg compression - you might want to raise the compression and tho it will lower the quality of the pix somewhat you can usually find a happy medium. Also be sure you're saving your web images at 72 dpi. Anything over that is wasted. Also, find a size that works - like 450 x 340 or whatever - and stays below 50k - and the rest of your images should work, too.

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Denise Kacavas on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 - 1:40 pm:     Edit PostPrint Post

try saving as a web format first, that some times makes it small enough a file. I hate resizing and losing the right dimensions

Kerri,

Nothing to do with Linus--don't need a blanket!! :–) Just use the Formatting things. Look at the formatting examples carefully--casually added spaces and things mess up results. Computers are very exacting!! No imagination at all.
