Bon dia, all. I'm not sure I want to do this (jump in that frigid water, today}, it's cold out there. It's suppose to get into the 40's today, I'm not convinced right now. I've got two gallons of scalding water packed in an icebox, that's what I'm telling my brain right now, bear through this and there's warm water in the wet suit at the end.

Cecil -- you're going to Cape Ann today to dive in a WETSUIT??!!

(insert massive shiver attack here)

I don't even do a wetsuit in August up there! Here's hoping that scalding water stays nice and toasty until you get it poured into your wetsuit post-dive...

Faith

Hi, all! That pretty lady at the gate who says she's not coming home really does mean it. That's Divemaster Dara, who recently moved to Bonaire. Hi Dara - we miss you on the ward er, ah, board.

Beautiful day here on the prairie of Wyoming. No crocuses yet, but the entire population of Red Creek School "Hoodie Hooed" very loudly at the appointed time, so we know Spring's a comin'. I've been playing hooky for about a week, and have not been able to participate in all the fun over the last couple of days. I'm making my own fun at home helping my hubby recouperate from hernia surgery. Starting to get a little boring, so thought I'd check in with all of you.

Kudos to Rusty, Freddie, Cynde and the other Cindy, Cecil, Jake and all for keeping the fire burning while the reef cam's down!!! For those of us with 3,000 days plus to go to Bonaire, this newsgroup helps! Cheers! Haz
Smile

No! It's not! I've never seen that insane lady in all my life!! Well, at least not since I looked in the mirror this AM, LOL! I think that was taken last year when I was doing a lesson on how to use the school's new digital camera. How was I to know that the little rascals were actually paying attention!!

I just discovered something. My classroom assistant from last year is my sub while I am gone. Apparently, he and the kiddos are putting together some sort of multi-media get well card for my hubby, and that pic somehow got saved to my "smiles" folder. I shudder to think what the final project will look like. Secretly, I am proud that they are doing something of this magnitude. The oldest student is my son, Travis, and he is only in fourth grade. Way to go, Red Creek Rattlers!!

Well, I survived and they said it couldn't be done. Bumber Sticker for this dive, cold wasn't a problem visibility was. The warm water was God sent after the dive and No, Hazel it was not tequilla (inside joke). I'll post some pictures and a trip report over in Everything Else after I get in a nap (tell me I don't know where my priorities are). Oh by the way for you dive wusses (you know who you are), 37 degree water, 40 degree air.
