Kay welcome back!!! Rusty, Scuba Barbie in a can of tuna!?? Yuck! What a thought! Ha! :-) I would rather believe that Scuba Barbie has taken up residency with a handsome octopus near the reef cam (8 arms to keep her hugged close)

By Snorkelguy {Scott Musson} on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 9:37 am: |
Sorry Barbie, only the best rubber chickens get to be called Chicken of the Sea.

By Michael Gaunt on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 10:16 am: |
Morning all! I haven't been around for a long time.... just thought I'd pop in and say "hello". This scene makes it very difficult to be stuck in the middle of Iowa.
|
By John Lidington on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 10:24 am: |
If this capture came from my town, I'd say we had a coyote sighting.

Okay. What's this floating in the surf line? Is is it a stray jewel of Rusty's?

By John Lidington on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 2:02 pm: |
Just a couple bars from Satchmo.

By Rusty Clark on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 2:57 pm: |
Hey, it's so warm (I just spent an hour spreading peat - there's NO snow on the garden!) maybe I'll go to a drive-in tonight. Wonder what's playing?
|
By Richard L .Harris on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 2:59 pm: |
Rusty,
|
By Rusty Clark on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 3:14 pm: |
Hi Richard! It's close to 50! For mid-Feb in Massachusetts - that's amazing. I'm not even sure there ARE any drive-ins around here anymore. Used to get a kick out of going when we were little. A 1963 red Volkswagen beetle - one of us kids would fall asleep in the "boot" behind the back seat.
|
By Cecil Berry on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 3:17 pm: |
Rusty, as far as I know there's still one in Milford, NH and Weirs Beach, NH. I saw Saving Private Ryan at the Weirs Beach one a couple of years ago. Great animation by the way.

By Freddie Hughes on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 3:32 pm: |
Lucy {aka Rusty} is that you?
|
By Rusty Clark on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 3:40 pm: |
Reeky, I'm HOME! Oh Reeky, do you like my new housedress, Reeky? Can we get a new Frigidaire, Reeky? Puh-leeze? Fred and Ethel just got a new one, Reeky!
|
By Snorkelguy {Scott} on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 3:48 pm: |
Very funny Rusty, and yes I do have a middle name but face it people would think I was weird if I used it. My name actually changed last night as I was demonstrating to my lovely wife (“Snorkelgal”) how she could add her name after her handle, since it’s a little friendlier.

Satch is busy today.
|
By Cindy Reed on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 3:59 pm: |
Afternoon everyone. it's supposed to hit 80 here tomorrow. Winter, what's winter? Rusty, does this mean I don't have to yell Hoody Doo tomorrow?
|
By Rusty Clark on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:03 pm: |
Time to grab a bale of straw and protect those early birds. The peat I put down today was for the same reason - the crowns on the perennials are showing fresh green! With no snow I wanted to cushion the shock when winter gets here - if it gets here - this year! Also offers a bit of protection from doggie feet.

By Holly A. Sanders on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:06 pm: |
Snorkelguy, I was in Harrisonburg this weekend the whole area looked very dry alot of ponds and streams were empty. Was I anywhere near Fairfax how is it at your house. Our bulbs are up too. Holly

Go to user profile/preferences and uncheck "Do not display my e-mail address with my profile or on my post". That should do it.

Is HOODY DOO tomorrow? Goodness! I have to get ready! What till I wear? Cindy - I'd be careful - you might scare your Springtime away!
|
By Rusty Clark on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:17 pm: |
No more *preferences*. I guess you don't get any with the Wooden Nickel Basic Membership. So it's off til I ante up for the Jackass Membership Level. Hee-Haw!

By Linnea Wijkhof-Wimberly on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:17 pm: |
Shoot, my narcissus are almost done, my jonquils are blooming like mad, and my freesias and daffydills are starting to show buds. I just pruned my roses so I don't have any right now, but one of my neighbors hasn't so she has pink, white and red roses blooming.
|
By Freddie Hughes on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:18 pm: |
LOL!!!! What time is HOODY DOO??? I certainly don't want to miss it. I think it would be a very bad omen if I did!!!
|
By Snorkelguy {Scott} on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:21 pm: |
Holly,

By Cindy Reed on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:22 pm: |
Rusty, this is central FL, zone 9. We seldom get freezes after january. Might drop to the mid 30's yet, but all our stuff will survive that. Jim planted maters 2 weeks ago and the peppers went in this past weekend. Beans are already up. I'll be in harvest mode before you know it.
|
By Cindy Reed on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:23 pm: |
Freddie, according to the Care-2 site, it's noon.
|
By Freddie Hughes on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:26 pm: |

Thanks for asking Cindy. I had a pretty tough weekend and actually spent Saturday in the ER. Having some complications that I’m not sure about yet and just got another MRI and I’m off to see the doctor on Thursday. (Sigh…) I’m getting kind of tired of this.
|
By Freddie Hughes on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 4:36 pm: |

Snork, hope thing go ok. I head in for my 6 weeks post-op on thursday, which means I should be able to go in the hot tub again. But it also means I get the go-ahead to hoover the house, too.
|
By Snorkelguy {Scott} on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 - 5:32 pm: |
Thanks Cindy, I know the hot tub will be a welcome event, I look forward to it too.
