East coast of new zealand, a small township on the outter edge of Dunedin south island runs 3 minute walk to ocean :-)

30 hours travelling from Bonaire to New Zealand or there abouts...lol...so you can work out (oops sorry maths time again) how far from bonaire to you :-)

DiverDebbie and Wendy are looking at the sunset in 18:40. Josie (back to camera) is doing the same with some brand new divers from her group at 18:44.

Nice to meet so many BT friends and enjoy Jake and Linda's warm hospitality.

Folks, we had a great time at the Great Turducken Party. The sunset was spectactular, I had a great dive with Jake, but it doesn't look as if I was captured on the reef cam. Bill and Alan successfully completed their Resort Course on Friday -- and they be divers now!!! Went out on a dive with Carib Inn this morning and booked another one for tomorrow --- I think they're hooked!!!! Hoorayyy!!! I'll have my own dive buddy soon!!

The meal was great and a good time was had by all. We're off to the party at Lac Cai now. (I almost hate to mention that to those suffereing from major PBD, but, hey, someone's got to support the economy down here. I'll do my best!)

We arrived that afternoon and went right to the party. It was a great way to arrive in Bonaire! It was nice to meet everybody. Thanks Jake and Linda. It was a great way to start the vacation

the turducken party was lovely. all of the food was delicious. We've got some serious chef's here. some of dishes that made me swoon: bas's coconut fish soup, jake's marinated onions, Josie's chocolate mousse, linda's chocolate merenge cookies......and the star of the show---Kay's turducken.
thank you linda & jake for inviting a group of strangers into your home and forging new friendships .
I'm back in l.a. now, with many pleasant memories of the evening.
