It's nice to be back, we blasted through the end of month work so camming is back. I'm all caught up on the "moon fish" incident. I'll be there in 14 days and plan to say hi to Marc. I hope I can recognize him with his pants on (LOL)

That's crazy - giving a drivers license to a dog! They can't even parallel park!

Good eyes, Cindy!

Nope that wasn't Bruce. Just the guy at the other end of the street.
Bruce has a couple too. He had one that could dive to the bottom of the pool to get the ball!! I think that dog has died some time ago. Another dalmatian that was at the carib inn a lot is the big one in my profile pic.. Monty. He is a cool dog. Unfortunately he moved to the UK with Tessa who used to work at the Carib Inn. One of my dogs was in LUV with Monty... we still miss him lots.

i'm confused Bas, are those your dogs in the van?

Top of pagePrevious messageNext messageBottom of page Link to this message  By Bas on Thursday, January 31, 2002 - 7:27 pm:     Edit PostPrint Post

Yes Cynde,
all 5 of them.. 4 dalmatians and a Jack Russel Terror. Quite a zoo overhere sometimes. But they're cool dogs. I have a lot of fun with them.

Bummer about the glare of the windshield :-(

We got a good laugh out of them when they were in front of the cam. Jake came out almost right away to check on what was going on cause his dogs and mine were all barking at each other. He asked me to come in the house so we had a lil chat and watched them live stream on the TV for a bit.. I did not know he had that lol.. was cool to see the motion on the cams for a change.. didn't even notice at first :-)When I was about to leave all of a sudden one of the dogs stepped on the horn for a bit... that was funny.

Got the idea of parking the dogs in front of the cams for a while from one of yesterdays comments about the moon when someone wished for more funny things to happen on the cams. Must say though that Marc's moon is hard to top. Good onya mate! LoL I've got some other ideas for feeding ya cammers with something different. But they need some thinking over hehehe

To funny Bas. The sunset was a little weak tonight, it needs a few more clouds or a sailboat.

Sunset

Now it feels like winter as I sit here sweeting and freezing at the same time. Just came in from moving the snow around. Ice storm tonight, now there's something to look forward to.

Hi Meryl,

No plans for leaving Bonaire any time soon.
Lilly looks a real missy on that pic.. and she is but she'll be a bit shy when you meet her. The others will be all over you instantly :-)

Great bunch, Steve !

Bas

No the Danes are not on Bonaire(yet). In fact that is the only bad thing about our trip down. Leaving them here. Of course I have told my wife, when I get through with my Instructor training we are moving, dogs and all. :)
We will be looking for some of the other puppies we have seen on the cams when we get there. in 8 days. The black (Judha) and white (Pinke, who is deaf) are brothers, rescued from a bad breeder, almost died. The gray is Merlin who is now 9mths old and 110lbs, and growing.
needless to say we like big dogs and most of the time their owners :) so watch for us spoiling a couple of puppies on the cams soon.

Steve, they are so sweet, but HUGE! Great heart of you to rescue them. Our breeder told us to put punkie down as noone would want her and god forbid anyone would breed her and give "them" a bad name....we kept her and she is by far the sweetest doggie in the world!
