hello all!

Just returned from a week in Bonaire and thought that you folks might like to see the web-cam from a slightly different perspective...

Hi Kevin,
I have the same picture. Did you notice that big moray in the block. Charlotte got kicked out of it. Did you get to see Charlotte? She lives about 10 feet in back of it in the rubble coral. She still shows herself everyday in front of the cam. I think that's funny. My picture of her didn't come out. Lea

Wow! A moray took over the block? Lea, do you have a pic of it? What are we going to name it? Kevin, when will you post your report? No pressure, of course, but be warned that those of us with chronic PBD have no patience :-)

I've been away from my computer for about five days, and missed quite a bit of stuff. I have about 1/2 hour to catch up. Students and I went into town yesterday and watched the Olympic torch come through. It was 9 degrees F, with a wind chill of -24 F. We froze our blanks off! It was totally worth it, though. What waves of emotions we all experienced! The people who ran with the torch were so kind to my students, sharing who had nominated them to be torch bearers and why. A perfect way to launch Red Creek's Olympic unit for February!

I digress...sorry 'bout that. I did not let my students see the full moon on the other thread - they saw one of the others that Cynde Lee mentioned and they were less than impressed - imagine that! For anyone who might be thinking of doing this, it is not nouvelle to us cam watchers. It's been done before, and will probably be done again. Try somethng REALLY unique - now THAT will get our attention!! Haven't seen any really fun gags for awhile. Maybe Chet will pull one out of the hat while he and Jean are on island!

Anywho, glad you're back safe and sound Kevin!
smile
