How comes that you have so lovely colors in your webcams? Uselly the colors are ugly in a webcam. do you use special fliters in frnot of the webcams?

The land cams do not use any filters - we use bullet cams (all weather). We have a good capture system designed however. Also, the cams we use are the kind used in video surveillance and provide a rather decent image - most devices designated as "WebCams" are pretty cheap and it shows in the image they produce which is lackluster and grainy.

The ReefCam uses a red/magenta color correcting filter from URPro to remove some of the blue from the water. This is the same filter used by videographers underwater when shooting with natural light.
