Beautiful, perhaps. Or perhaps your memory needs a jog....remember:Car keys dropping from frozen fingers?! How about l2 layers of clothes...Car heaters that won't...Black Ice...Thigh hi boots that let you fall on your duff...Galoshes that don't but make you feel as dainty as a Bull Moose in heat...a-a-h-h!Now it comes back to you. However, if you HAVE completely lost your mind, I'll trade you my snowy Shangri-la for your flower strewn Eden. Even trade?

It might "look" nice and pretty, but for those of us who have to "navigate" and function in the snow, it is a pain in the tushy! It truly is beautiful outside our home in Northern New Jersey (Morris County) but there is approximately 27 inches, yes....27 INCHES!, to deal with. It is bitterly cold and windy outside today, too, so it will not be "going away" any time soon. Now it is drifting back into the areas previously plowed and shoveled. Pretty? Yes. Helpful? Not to those of us in the "city" environment, as we are now. Oh, to be in Bonaire!!! Carole

My condolences to you all up the East Coast who spent the weekend shoveling out. The storm just bypassed us here...the forecast was for snow, but we got none. It must have been the cumulative effect of all the hot air generated in Washington...this is one of the little known benefits of living in close proximity to the Congress, even when it is not in session. Still cold, though.
The good part is 18 days 'til Bonaire.
