Caught a couple fishies - first one's a mystery fish...

Morning John & Rusty

You must've popped in the same time as I did John, I very nearly posted those exact surf pics but didn't as I had to do some work!

Good morning, Emma and Rusty and anyone else out there. Just came back in to cams showing little to excite. Mystery fish is tough. Probably one of the darker parrots, but could be a Creole wrasse, except they usually school.

Hey Rusty! Missed you! Mom had surgery last Friday (lung cancer-caught early & hopefully gone). I went down to provide care & comfort. Unfortunately, I caused her to pull an abdominal muscle from laughing as I read to her from "The Sweet Potato Queen's Book of Love". (Dad has put the book under lock & key until she's fully healed). She's 61 (yesterday), and looked great! She loved the video that Glenn shot of Bonaire and her newly certified divin' daughter. Deb.

Here's lots of love and happy thoughts wending their way to your mom. Medical science is amazing these days and I bet your mom is up and around for another hundred years after she recovers! (Gotta check out that book - I've seen the cover - riotous!) So you're officially a mermaid now! Congrats...

Thanks Rusty! DO get The Book. It's a Hoot! I crowned (with tiara & all) mom an honorary queen. Can't wait to get back in the water & swim with my fishie friends....your pal...Deb. Off to work!

Morning all - I'm in and out (mostly out), but have to comment on the SPQ Book of Love - It's my favorite all-time book right next to God Save the Sweet Potato Queens. I sent both to a friend going through chemo and she loves them. Hope your mom's recovery goes smoothly Deb.

oh well, back out again....too much to do this time of year.
"the other" cindy
ps: Rusty, I love the holiday display. :)

Could be a coney from the color standpoint, but the caudal fin appears to be a lot more lunate than I remember coney's to be. Of course, that could be an optical effect, and not a real physical characteristic of the fish in the capture.

You know we need a name for that Coney, my suggestion is Beldar the most famous Conehead, if we think it's female then Prymaat (Beldar's wife-unit). My thinking is he's male.

You know - Beldar is a perfect moniker for piscine unit.

Almost time to light the decorations out front. Hey, look a tree lot right across the street from the cam! Good product placement.
