Good morning everybody,
Today is supposed to be a lucky or hazardous day.
I don't know for you, but in France, a four leaves clover is considered as a talisman.
vend A nice Friday 13 to you all !
I need to go out and look for a Valentine presant for Jean Paul. It is a great dilemna for me, but I know he has the same problem :o)

Good Morning Martine! Yes a four leaf clover is good luck over here too! I have also found 5 and 6 leaf clovers at one point. Some I have placed in picture frames with family photos in them.

Today is my supervisors last day at work for a couple of months. She is having hipreplacement surgury on Monday:-(, my coworker and I who carpool together got her a care package, wine , chocolate, books, all kinds of stuff.:-)

Thank-you for your thoughts for her (she is a wonderful person and has encouraged me a lot over the years). We all know that she will feel much better after the surgury and pain part. It's definately scary though!

I am off to work early this morning (need gas/petrol) so I wish you a great day today! Good Luck in finding a gift for Jean-Paul!

Good Luck to those flying today - Cynde - safe flight to all:-)!

Have a great day everyone!

Morning Canice,
Oh no, Annie, don't tell that, if I could share my BP with you... sometimes mine is too low.
Need to go now, Annie, maybe we talk "in private" tonight. Go on relaxing. Warm hug.

Morning gang! Eileen, thanks for the well wishes...Annie, I'm sorry you're not feeling better yet:-(

Getting ready and doing last minute packing:-) Kelly said "pack WARM clothes" guess it was aboot 19F yesterday!

Nice pics with the divers...however...2 words...dangling gauges and gear...not good for the reef...imagine them banging against everything as they go down the reef...folks need to get them clipped up...just my rant and 2 cents for today...probably won't get time to check back in...have a great weekend all!

Hi Annie, yes, they should be clipped up to the BC. The ocotpus in the one shot is hanging down, if I were out of air and needed to get at my buddy's spare, and it was dangling, it would not be easy to grab...they sell an "octopus clip/holder" that costs about a buck...and the computers can be hooked up to a clip that has a cord so you can pull it and check the gauges and then it retracts...I certainly don't mean to pick on these divers, but it needs to be pointed out, as some don't realize the hazards:-(

A danglediver can pretty quickly become a tanglediver. I've been tempted to buy a crate of the hose clips and leave a bag of them at the cam. I think it should always be commented on so the folks can see the remarks when they get back and maybe mend their dangly ways.

Cynde... Guess our secret is out... Riblet is only about a 5 hour drive from me!!! LOL

Have a great time!! :-)

Hi, Jeff!! :-) And Barb and Seb and Annie!! :-)

I'm Back, Canice!! :-)

Brain wouldn't cooperate with 'work mode', so I'm playing hookey for a while!! :-)

Great bunch of West Canadian Divers.... I do hope they read the thread and remember the advice not to dangle...

One thought in their support, though is that quite often visitors to any of the islands rent gear locally.... and where they may have their own gear set up properly, many times rental gear is not equipped to allow securing the dangly bits.
Quite often because the clips, snaps and catches tend to disappear, and while the cost of 1 or 2 clips is very reasonable, imagine having a rack of dive gear where clips must be replaced at least monthly.

But enough of the rant.... and probable justification...
water

I still love the way the new cam shows the water colour!!!

:-) Bill :-)

Bill. For any diver who is intending on renting their gear, maybe they could take their own clips with them, and then they know they will be ok. It's just an idea. Annie B.

Chubby likes your idea, Annie....look at that smile!!! :-)

And I agree with you...I normally will carry a small - just in case - kit, with extra little parts, including silicone snorkel keepers - they will stretch to fit over a console if necessary, and are relatively cheap.
