Mornin' all. Rusty, I'm not certain, but your parrot fish looks to be a smooth trunk fish. You can tell because of all the "mascara." Cecil calls 'em the Tammy Fay Baker fish. Cute little fellas, and friendly too. We were followed by scores of them on Bonaire.

Hi Hazel - okay I'll buy Tammy Faye - the mascara is definitely globbed on. Never assume. LOL

Here's a blue something-or-other:

Hi Rusty, Yes we did have a wonderful time. The beach diving was terrific and we did about 20 dives for the week. We stayed at Capt. Don's, very nice accomendations. and had 6 boat dives included in our price. I wasn't all that impressed with the boat dives to Klein... But every beach dive that we did was terrific!!!

I sit looking at divers on the pc. Glancing out the window, the sky is full of fluffy white stuff. The ground is slowly turning white. Back to the divers. Only 28 more days .... sigh.

We are actually quite close to the mountains and last week's snow just melted a day or two ago. Don't know how large this new storm is supposed to get. Went to Reno last night for a show at John Ascuaga's Nugget. Saw Robert Earl Keen, a Texan with a very unique style of singing. It was a lot of fun. Carson and this entire area are growing very fast. Carson passed 50,000 in population recently. Still small for a capital, but growing too fast for some of us. How long ago did you live at Tahoe?

Moved out in 84, I lived there for 8 years prior...I use to work at the Cal Neva, Crystal Bay Club and Nevada Lodge up at the north shore...Left when my youngest was 2...too much snow for me, with little kids..they were inside all the time...My friend Frank use to work at the Nugget in Reno and at the Lake..Seems like a million years ago...

Jake,,,glad you finally got the cables!

Just spoke with my mom in Oceanside. She says it is in the 50's down there. What happened to all your warm weather. I just love boat parades.

vivian, his parents moved to McCloud. They went through there on a trip last summer to Oregon, fell in love, came back to San Diego, sold their house of 38 years and packed up and moved! Took us all a bit by surprise, but they are loving it :)
