Ahhhh...that Bonaire gold does alot to lift one's spirits. Sure do miss those coral shores and turqoise water. Nice pic.

Hi Hazel - no hats - purple or otherwise. Just a head of long red hair. Never been to Bonaire but dive Florida and the Keys whenever I can and am in love with Bonaire from a distance. Every diver I know who's been says I GOTTA GO.

I found the site while searching for critter cams and have been visiting ever since. I love the message board with the fun chatter and the cam postings, so I can see what I miss when I'm away from the PC.

I ran a public aquarium a decade ago - but it was fresh and brackish tanks so I'm enjoying learning the salt fish by watching and reading and asking questions. Nice way to spend the day online - reading a book and watching that Bonaire blue & gold!

The pixie is our daughter Yana, who was playing in the water with her brother and Bijou, a Dutch/local girl who helps us with the kids on Saturdays sometimes (and is the kid's horse back riding instructor too).

Bijou is Marion's daughter, right Jake? Met them last year at Artie's place while Lorraine and Jim Meadows were having a wonderful party. Very nice young lady, definitely enjoyed her company! Such a grown up lady at such a young age. I don't know if she remembers us or not...she might recall us if she sees our profile picture. Hope Mom and the two girls are doing well. Oh, my! It just started snowing here in Morristown, NJ...it was near seventy degrees yesterday and in the fifties this afternoon...must be some very cold air in the upper atmosphere causing this to happen at this point. I need to be in Bonaire right now! We have had very mild weather up until this moment...poor us. Carole

jake how come when I add a smiley via the colon and paren, it makes a yellow smiley, and sometimes it don't??? Have you added something to the software program???

Don't know, Cynde. It only does it with the colon and paren, and not when you have a dash inbetween (which is what I prefer :-) ).

thanks Jake...mystery solved! I couldn't figure out why sometimes it appeared, and sometimes not (thus the dash makes the difference)...or is it "Mrs. Dash makes the difference"
