Greetings to all of you from the 4 ladies captured on the webcam last week! And thanks so much for the capture; we got it around to all our friends, relatives and kids (Kid: "Mom, were you in a BIKINI???" Grandpa: "I saw some women, but they had a sign that said "sucks" so it couldn't have been them..."). So we accomplished our goal of shocking most everybody! We are all now completely smitten with Bonaire (it was a first for all of us); one of us did her open water and is now NAUI certified; the others did a check out dive and are diver wannabes; we all want our own personal donkey (well, maybe just me...), and we can't wait to go back. I will write a more detailed trip report in the trip report section, but I wanted to thank everyone for getting our pictures out there and cheering us on. Oh yeah, about the nose holding pic...that was me...we were in the middle of trying to look like we were going under (one hand up, one plugging nose, you know?) and didn't quite synchonize it...or,maybe I was just trying to equalize my ears??? We really didn't do ANYthing 30 ft. under except gape in amazement at the fishies, but boy did my son want an answer to that question!!! Anyway, we had quite an adventure that day finding the streetcam and touring sweet little Hato; the guestbook and extra signs are a nice touch, as are those sweet dogs we got to pet (doesn't cactus on the ground make a good barrier to the fence? :-) ) And now the webcam will make us all the more wistful for Bonaire!

Ladies, you were great entertainment for those of us with no life... Obviously, much speculation regarding your activities (or potential activities) You need to be a bit careful with some in our BT crowd...they can go off the edge a little easily.
Sorry you are back...Cynde Lee will be happy to enlist you into the roles of the Post-Bonaire Depression Syndrome support group. We all belong, whether we admit to our problems or not..

Jane, thanks for the "nose" explanation...I was one of the folks who "misread" the signals! LOL. So glad you all fell in love with Bonaire...I find it hard NOT to. You are now an official Bonaire Addict and are very welcome to our support group! It is such an amazing little place, isn't it? Carole

Carole...sounds like we need a weekly support meeting. Imagine one day a week all the addicts on the board at the same time posting into the category - Bonaire Depression Support Group! What fun!!
