Not much of a shot, but at least something. Charlotee and parrot friend (or for, since she's probably chasing him off).

Morning, John Joel & Rusty. Thanks for the posts! How you doing, Rusty? BTW, Glenn had deleted the e-mail you send with the posting tutorial. After 2 weeks in Bonaire, I didn't think I'd remember how...but your instructions were so clear, that your student remembered! (Perhaps I'm just a "little rusty":>!!!)
Your pal...
Deb.

Having watched the cams for a few months now, it seems to me that the difference between high and low tides isn't very large in Bonaire. Is that so?

That is so. I have never noticed a change in the tides. But I could be wrong.

Generally, it takes a major length of coastline, with substantial contribution from the shape of the coast, to build up a major tidal change. I haven't seen much more than a foot differential in any of the Caribbean Islands I have visited.

Meanwhile, a truck stops, totally ignoring the possibility of being washed away by the incoming tide.

Rusty, you're having all the luck today. Every time I check in, it seems to be two minutes after one of your good fish captures. I'll forego the very blurred up-close wrasse back that's on now.
