Hi All,
I am new to BT, been lurking for a couple of days since I found the web cams, and am already trying to get over my addiction.... :)
I'm up late working tonight, and was about to go to bed, when I noticed this interesting shot. I thought at first that it was the moon shining through the clouds onto the water... and then realized it was on the street cam. Still, my best guess is that it's moon's reflection on a wet street, or possibly Don Q. has gotten himself a flashlight! Am I just showing my greenness, and it's a common streetlight?
Anyway, I hope this works:
moonlight
I'm planning on being in Bonaire for the first time in early January. Can't wait for my first diving outside of New England! mmmmm... warm water!
Off to bed and dreams of warm places.
Good night,
-Christiaan

If that's the street-cam, given the angle, I'd guess it was car headlights coming down the side street across the way. That's just a guess, though...

Cool shot, though! Nice capture...

Faith

I'm sure it is the moon, I noticed it yesterday morning shining on the pillar.

Christiaan...welcome. It's always fun when we get a lurker to come forward.
Now we will pump you for information regarding your upcoming trip. You will love the blue water....can actually see your feet (and far beyond) during the entire dive. Where are you staying? When are you going? When do you expect to visit the web cams? We will watch for you and post any embarrassing pics for all to see, so watch it.

Being from NE myself, I can tell you that Bonaire diving is a different world entirely!! No need for wet suit and mits and visibility is incredible and fish are plentiful and colorful.... And the island pace is so different from NE! They like to talk of "island time" - meaning don't be in a hurry for most anything, EXCEPT don't be late for the dive boat :-) Enjoy!

Welcome aboard, Christiaan! We just love to see lurkers surface onto the board. You will fall in love with Bonaire and return home totally addicted to her, as the rest of us did. Enjoy your trip and we look forward to hearing all about your first-time experiences on the island. Carole
