hi all,
Have to catch up with everything that happened. Was/am not feeling well, upset bowels, and even worse, there is a nerve stuck in my back/neck which now got irritated badly and it is hurting. Especially at night I don't know where and how to lay my arm. Got fysio and painkillers, have to get spine and neck x-ray tomorrow.
some fish and a squid on the cam make me feel a little better!

I hope you feel better Karin!!!

Hi all,
this was the first chance I've had to catch up and peruse the web cam line since my return last Sunday.I was the visitor at the front gate with the cool hat in the Jan 5 afternoon pics. My friend Rens from Holland and I went for a dive on small wall that afternoon with Jake and Linda's permission.(I bribed 'em with treats for Grendal and Blikje( who, by the way, are very sweet puppies! )) Imagine my surprise to read that it looked like I was carrying a small baby into the water!:o Those were my fins! Nothing sinister going on there at all Just going in for an amazing dive and some fun posing with signs for the underwater cam. It's a beautiful spot,and I'm more than a little envious of Jake and Linda as they get to LIVE there. You even caught us changing when we returned.... Striptease?????? OH MY! That's gonna take a while to live down....
Anyways... just wanted to say thanks for catching those pics.

I just came back from shopping. And there were the divers!

Joel painted the main bath today, a blue colour. It matches but we have to get used to it, the blue makes the counter top look different. We have so much left over that we are going to paint the front bedroom the colour too, I prefer something different, but everything costs $$ too!

Julia just a word of caution, I looked at your profile picture, and touching marine life is a no-no, and it is ILLEGAL on Bonaire...if they catch you touching the animals, you can face fines and also the possibility of not diving Bonaire again (banned).

Hi there,
I just wanted to explain about the profile pic, and to assure you that I don't make a habit of touching the marine life. I've had my knuckles rapped a few times over that photo, but I do love it.
Cynde, if you think that the picture is inappropriate, I'll gladly change my profile to another picture, just let me know, OK?

Now... just to clarify.....The picture was taken last year in Cozumel on one of my first dives ever, I found the seahorse drifting along the bottom of a sandy area and not knowing much about their habits, I thought it was dead. When it proceeded to wrap it's tail around my finger I immediately found a sponge for it to attach to and let it be. I've done alot of reading into the marine park rules and creature behavior since then, and am proud to say that during my visit to Bonaire in Dec/Jan, I kept my buoyancy neutral and kept my fingers to myself.
I sincerely hope that this hasn't offended anyone,

Mary, I passed 2 of the three, but the third one is sent to the national office, so I won't get the results from that test for a couple of weeks I think I did pretty good on that one too (fingers crossed). If I didn't pass, I have to wait 30 days to take it again
