If I can do this correctly, can someone tell me
what this is?

Michael, type {choosewordhere} after the \image and then upload when it asks for image during posting preview.

Ok. Now I get "your image here" but how exactly do I "upload" the file that I saved?

It has never asked me for the image during the preview. Man, I hate computers.

Michael, when you post the message you first get "your image here" then if you proceed with "post this message" (I think it says) then it will ask you to tell it where to find the file to upload.

And, Mike, sorry for the 22 minutes you waited for my answer, I'm still working on a design job and forgot to look here again. (We're on West Coast time, for all you folks worried that I'm working at 11 pm!)

I'm going to test this process again just to make sure I'm not forgetting something.

Hi Michael,
We all went through these "learn to post lessons" and messed up "many" times :-)
I am one of these visual learners and the step-by-step info I got from Cherry-Anne worked for me.

1: Right click on picture
2: click on "Save as"...it should come up as a jpg file extention..remember where you saved it..i.e. "my documents"
3: Write your message and description of picture There are no spaces between the backslash, the word image, and the brackets, with the description in it.
4: Click on "preview/post message" and the image logo comes up
5:Click on "send message" .
6: Browse for your saved file, click on "open" once you have found it
7: You are now back to the screen which says "upload". Click on "upload" and according to Cherry-Anne you cross your fingers here. I just pray :-) Have fun...hope to share many images with you.
Dom

Thanks everyone ! It's really quite easy once you know what you're doing. I will keep instructions close by.

However, I still don't recognize this fish ????
Is it something familiar but at an odd angle?

Hi Frank! Fancy meeting you here.
It takes me a while to post a picture -- have to look up how to do it all the time.
