Martin & I had a nice dive. Coolest thing we saw was a tarpon with a small remoraz (shark sucker) on his back, and a baby horseeye jack (1.5 inches long).

I'll see if I can post some pictures from the dive (I was experimenting with an external strobe) tomorrow.

Ok, you all know that I am useless at this diving stuff, but am gradually learning things since joining BT. Jake,I will take the risk and ask the question.

Is the external strobe the thing that you are holding in you left hand in the 16.34 picture? I have no idea what a strobe looks like. I just know that it is a light, well I think it is anyway. Annie B.

Barbara - Take a look at http://www.oldbonairetalk.com/newsgroup/messages/116771/128567.html

Annie - Yes - that's it :-) A strobe is what you'd also call a "flash" (at least in American English - not sure if you Brits have a different word for it - e.g. flashlight vs. torch).

Jake

Thanks Jake. We use both words, flashlight or torch, they are both the same. Annie B.
