OOPS! Couldn't post the pic of Jake doing some cam-maintenance. Sorry.

Okay - the broken South BeachCam has been replaced with the PartyCam.

StreetCam has been upgraded to a new camera provided by a generous donor. This one appears to have more contrast, brighter colors, and decent depth of field. Let us know what you think! If the new StreetCam passes muster, I'll take the old StreetCam and replace the North BeachCam with it (to get rid of those yellow streaks), and move the then old North BeachCam to being the PartyCam (where streaks will not matter as much)...

hi all, had no connection all day, finally got it fixed now!
And guess who I caught on the street cam? 4th day in a row!

New street cam seems to be more light sensitiv, gives harder shadows, I think, might make peoples faces less clear. The colours seem very clear and bright though.
Lets see when more people start appearing.

Well it turned out to be a hump day here. Washing m/c has broken down. Up to my neck in water.

The water is really murky today - lots of surge kicking up silt - it's not just that the ReefCam needs cleaning :-)

Jake, the street does look a bit "washed out."

checking back on the cam changes...looks a little seasick right after the south beach cam change...

And comparing yesterdays street visitor shot with todays...let's see how it looks...I think even though it's brighter (???washed out..) but the colors are better?? Testing, testing...

Good thing this guy wears the same shirt everyday! LOL Yup, I like the new cam better...

New thread starts here Onto the afternoon

OMG Linda, an iguana! Good thing that the sign box is high...might have another Don Quiote on our hands! I see Grendel looking at it...Did she and Blijke go nuts? How big was it, it looks pretty huge!

I don't think the iguana made it. I had to shoo him out of the way to park the car. Poor Grendel was throwing a fit. The kids and I tried to move the iguana away from the house but he was guarding his section of the street and was not about to be moved. I told Jake and when he got out there, Grendel had vaulted the wall (first time ever) and had the iguana in a head lock. We got them apart and put the iguana in the bushes hoping he might recover.

Wow, Grendel vaulting the wall! Yikes! BTW, I haven't seen Blijke lately, she OK?

Oh boy. I would have loved to see Grendel jumping the wall. How tough are iguanas. I fear he may die from shock. Annie B.
