I will bring the coffee, tea, cappucino, expresso or what ever you like around this morning.
Nice to start a thread, it has been a while since I was able to.
In Bon it is still dark (my system still agrees more with that time, but this night was a first night with some good sleep...)

Morning ladies, for a change I'll have a double espresso extra strong with a touch of mocca.

Martine , I think you're not the only one who stayed up late :-(

Diana , good for you that the jetlag is wearing off.
Couple of years ago whe suffered severe jetlag coming home from our honeymoon on Dominican Republic.
Was worth it though;-).

"Good" morning Jos,
What (or maybe who?) kept you from falling asleep?
The double espresso is coming your way

Good morning Jos,
If I remember well returning from your last trip to Curacao, Amber was "suffering" a strong jetlag while you, Dad and Mom just wanted to sleep :o)
How is you little family ?
Diana ( and other )when on the place you usually need the same number of days than the hours time difference to perfectly recover: 6 days for six hours time difference for example. Imagine Australia or Tahiti for us !
It's always easier to bear going westward that eastward. I think now the harder is behind you Diana :o)

Good Morning Everyone. Well, it is raining again over here. 4 days now. My husband got rid of our mushrooms in the backyard last night and now they are back! Work is busy so it will be an early drive in. I am looking forward to Sunday, my only day of the week off for the next little while. I hope everyone is well this morning (besides tired...)

Diana, trust me , nobody is keeping me from falling asleep:-), it's the waking up in between that's wearing me out.

Martine , the little family is doing fine , thank you.
You are right about the jetlag thing, going eastward is the real sleepcrusher!
It is the same with workshift rotation schedule's : staying up 8 hours later is easier than going to bed 8 hours earlier.

Wow eileen , six days work week ??? Back to the 50's on working rules???

( to get back on topic : guess what ????)

dark

I know Jos, but it will only be until December and they are 1/2 days. We did this last year. It is completely voluntary but the money will come in handy for a trip I have in mind :-). We get paid overtime $$ and my gas mileage will be covered (enough gas $$ to last me for the week!). So it will be worth it.:-)

Anyway, I wish you all a great day today. I look forward to seeing the morning colours!

Morning Eileen,
I understand you and Sjos regarding alter worked time. I have been doing that for 27 years at Air France ( get up three mornings at 3 or 4 AM, return home three evening at 3 or 4 AM or work three whole night and sleep when you can on your days off. Work on week ends, Xmas, Easter etc. I can't do it anymore. I still work on week ends but on fixed schedules ( 11 AM till 06.30 PM )
m00 Daylight is breaking :o)

So, according to Martine I have still a couple of days to get rid off the Jet-lag feeling!
Daylight is switched on in Bon:
sunrise

Jos, Broken nights are as terrible as a jet-lag!

Eileen, good luck at work, glad that I do not need to work in the weekends, or nights (as some of the others have to do once in a while).

Got to go to a meeting, be back later. Don't do things that I wouldn't do!

That was my wife Sue in front of the reef cam.

Now we are back home till the next trip.
