Hello everybody,
The heath wave is back :o) I would better say, do we now have an Indian summer in Europe ? Anyway, this new day seems to be as warm and bright as yesterday. Cheery on the cake, we have some auroras alert for these coming days, so Annie, Nicola, Igor, Martin, Jos, Karin and Eileen just look at the sky before going to bed :o)
Any lurker to share my morning coffee ? I wish you a nice day.

I am also glad to hear of you too :o) Must go to London and meet you someday.
I planned to go out now and do some shopping. I also will enjoy this sunny day. Sorry Eileen, I probably won't be there to catch the morning colors :o(

Hi Eileen!
No news yet :-( Monday and tuesday will be the "big" days. Cinthie is feeling a bit better the last days so I guess all the good thoughts from BT are helping :-)

More light...

Oh my God, what an emotion. I was just returning from shopping when I saw a thick smoke from the street. Imagine, my terrace building was burning ( men were working for roof isolation ). Firemen and policemen didn't want me to go home cause gaz tanks could burst out, and Ramses was home alone and my apt is just beneath the terrace, just imagine. I was so worried. Finally I could sneak through another entrance, get home, pick up Ramses and return out waiting with neighbours. Firemen succeeded to stop the fire, no explosion, every body is back home now. Thanks God. It is the third fire in five years in our block. Thanks to the firemen, they really do a great job.

Nice shot of Bluebeard Annie, it seems he is wearing a leash :o)
Fornunately nobody was hurt and I think damage are few, just workers' material, and maybe redo the terrace isolation.

Hi Martinke,

Happy dad is doing fine , cuddled up this morning with Alexander after I delivered Amber to the daycare center(sp?).
Had a nice snooze for about an hour with him sleeping on my chest :-)

btfw!!!! Did you sneak in to a burning building with possible exploding gas cannisters to get your cat out ??? Are you n...?
What if : .... , well lets put it this way : you could have been the one with the smell of burning!

All's well that ends well they say :-)

Yes Jos, I must be n..., but the building was not burning, just the roof terrace, and most of all I love my kitty and nobody on the ground floor prohibited me to go back home. Wouldn't you do the same ?
How old is Alexander now, two weeks or something like that ? I could check on BT :o)
I can easily imagine you snoozing with baby Alex on your chest :o)

Martine ,
I am the humble "servant" of two cats ( once three) , would probably have done the same, but.... I have seen the damage gasexplosions can do .

Alexander is 20 days old right now :-)

Is this a dive boat or am I dreaming?

Hi Annie B,

got your new face jewelry on???
Spot the ( head on) flying eagle in the 08.44 pano !!! You can even see it's eyes and beak.

I've seen one for real , sticking my neck out to take a pic at a bird show ! Even got hit in the nose by the leather straps the eagle wore on his claws!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry to hear about your drama earlier on Martine, glad you're ok. It's a beautiful clear sky here so I will certainly go out tonight and see if I can spot anything.

In 12 days time we are going to be in the water!! Yippee!! Will the hurricane that's lurking around have gone by then?
