Since it looks like I may be swamped again Tuesday, I thought I'd take this oppotunity to say Hello to all those west of the Atlantic! :-) Too early for sunrises now!

Good morning, Somebody here to share some coffee with?
It is still dark at the cams and no sailboats with lights.

Yesterdays dive was again interesting. Till 6 m you could hardly see your instruments, even when pressed to your mask. But beyond that it became colder , but better visibility
The first part looks almost like the view of the reefcam at this moment, but then green.

Morning Diana! I'll share a coffee, before I go out in the garden.
Interesting view you had on your dive ;-)
Hope it was fun, though.
I'm planning to go snorkeling somewhere here soon, anyone has any good tips?

Good Morning Barbara, Jos(goodnight), Diana and Karin! Coffee Time! Early day at work for me today. Karin, how about Bonaire??:-) Diana, sounds like an interesting dive, what was the water temp?

Best idea, Eileen! Just that I have to wait a little to get there to snorkel. I was thinking about a spot in Holland first, so that I get not out of practise, LOL

What kind of dive/snorkel sites are there in Holland? Anyway, I wish everyone a great day today, we've passed the Monday test. I'm off to work. Bye for now!:-)

That was exactly my question, Eileen! Just that I don't dive (yet) so am mainly interested in snorkel sites.
No light on the cams yet.

Hi Karin and Eileen,
Finally some time to check the cams again..
The temp was around 60F (16 deg C) at 10 m, but around 70F (21 deg C) in the shallow part.

In the fresh water lakes, now is not a good time to snorkel (the algea growth gets really bad), but some areas in the grevelingen could be good.

morning all...why are all the divers entering on the north side, the wrong side! Diana, kudos to you for doing a dive where you can't even see your gauges when pressed to your mask...I wouldn't even get in the water if vis was that bad! LOL! Guess I must be somewhat of a pansy:-) Oh, I can promise you much better visibility (but not warmer water) when you come here in September!

Where did you stay? Did you dive and snorkel?

Not too much Karin:-) Although, I put the hissing rat on the fence post one morning, and the gal that comes and cleans the Richter house twice a week saw it and came back in the house to tell me to go get it because she was afraid someone would steal it! LOL! Jake and Linda must not be around to tell them the proper entry and exit point:-)

I, too, have been noticing a lot of divers entering on the north side lately. Unfortunately, Jake & Linda are not there to assist...they're on vacation (fortunate for them though). Maybe we should post something on Diving Bonaire about the proper etiquette when diving Small Wall from shore? Cynde?

I wonder if those divers were the Adamies? I did't see them in the water yesterday, and they did say there were diving Small Wall Monday or Tuesday!? It was a Texas dive flag in the 9:18 pic, so it would make sense to guess that it was them. And the diver holding the Texas dive flag is wearing a tinted mask!

Just when you think that you have all of the rules down....you mess one up. :-)

Cris, now that we know it was you, you will be tarred and feathered immediately! Are you back???

South cam entry: Just to the south of the cabana, there is a nice little path that has been cleared for a pretty nice and easy entry and exit...not much rubble to have to balance on.

Notice just beside where Jake is standing...
cam.jpg

North cam entry: I think that Jake has a spot that is "ok" to enter, however, it isn't clear and going that way is over a lot more coral and rubble, and more difficult:-)
