I have some serious praise for a BT'er today (forgive me Jake but it is Bonaire related). Martine I got your CD yesterday. It worked great, plugged it in and it played. I'm having a hard time describing what we saw next.

It was absolutely wonderful. Great shots, great editing, great music, and perfect timing. My hat's off to Jean Paul, excellent excellent job and his lovely assistant.

For others, Jean Paul put together a movie of our Bonaire trip, it was assembled with Sue and myself in mind and revolved around two events, us coming back to the dock on the Woodwind and Martine and myself diving at the Divi. Breathtaking footage.

I also been waiting to see what I really look like underwater. Well now I know, mostly bald and bulky. Nothing I can do about the bald and I like the bulky. Sometimes it's better not to know.

Tips... A few questions: how long will u be there, are u a diver and did u rent a car?

We will be there 7 days, yes we rented a car, we learned that lesson from Aruba, it's a blast when you drive around on your own. I am a very envious non-diver, I am avidly looking for a place to get a open water cert at a decent rate. But, for the time being I've always free dived or snorkled. And we will be doing alot of free diving/ snorkling.

You can sign up at the Dive Flamingo...check out www.infobonaire.com and look up diving and check out the different shops rates for Resort Certification (unless you want to go for the full c-card) Also, at the bottom of this page go to "Topics" and click on "Snorkeling" and you will find tons of info from folks who have snorkeled on the island

John, u do the theory and the pool-lessons at home with a local diveshop and u do the 4 dives on the place u prefer. I got my certification that way on Bonaire!

John, just make sure you have the hard copies of your reservations with the confirmation number and you will not have any trouble checking in. If you have a hard copy of your check(s)/credit card bill(s)that will help too. As I've said many times, it is the US office that messes everything up. The people on Bonaire are great.
