GMTA,
While being at work early in the morning and waiting for some experiment to finish, I saw lots of action yesterday. I had to rush off, to go diving, so I did not say bye properly.
It's nice reading the posts while drinking coffee.
Thanx Clint, for introducing me to the Richter Family. Now I know who's, who and how to spell Grendel!!
It is still dark at the cams, but I'll check in later for some sunrises.

Diana

Good Morning! The computer was not letting me on last night so I missed out on all the fun!! The whole internet last night was slow and painful for us. It happens from time to time! How was your dive last night Diana?

Welcome back Cynde! We enjoyed your's and Kelly's tricks!

Hi Eileen,
The dive was fun, although visibility was about 50 cm. But the video worked and we actually got a 'snoek' (don't know the English for this fish, it's sort of a baracuda type for fresh water)on it. Nice to watch it back.

Cynde and Kelly, how's the PBD going??

Our viz can be like that too up here in some areas! I will look the fish later tonight.

Welcome back to Kelly too!

50 cm !!! ...that's not very many feet is it?

well, even on bad days (in our quarries and lakes) we get at least 300 cm of vis;)

i am curious to see how pictures taken under such conditions will turn out - we got fresh water barracuda too (pike or walleye)

and we even havwe fresh water jelly fish!!! (will post sometime later this summer)...

anyway,

have a nice day :-)

Bye Eileen. Have a nice day at work & I'll talk 2 u later...
Diana, I think a "snoek" is a "pike". It's a big predatory fish which can grow up to 150 cm (5 feet) long!
Nice 2 hear the video worked out okay! I guess the tape won't show much with a vis of 50cm (1.6 feet).
Here's a piece of the sunrise 4 u

Hi Igor and Spongebob,
The first reef activity and a boat.
f b

On video the vis of 50 cm is not so bad, you can actually see the pike (thanks, Spongebob and Igor), but for normal photo's it is no go when vis is so low.

Visibility in Bonaire looks fine again!!

With Cynde and Kelly left, there are no exiting quizzes popping-up. So we also suffer a bit from PBD,along with the ladies.

Hi Jos!
The Oosterschelde or the Grevelingen are really nice to dive in. Sometimes the viz is bad, but most of the times in those places it is pretty good. You really should try some time.
Well, I can post some pictures of the Oosterschelde in CC.

Hi, everyone! Good morning or good afternoon, depending on where you are....

Well, the PBD is hitting pretty bad today. Hard to believe just a few short days ago I was underwater. We are going again in November though so that's something to look forward to!

Jos, you should have seen Cynde when she saw that sign! She did a u-turn in the road and went back, we were just laughing like crazy. We were on a mission! LOL!

Morning all:-) thanks for the PBD thoughts...just got through rinsing the gear. Had to soak it for a day it smelled so bad....PEE U!

Jos, you're welcome:-)

To keep on topic, here are fish bits...I was happy to see that there are a LOT of baby coral heads around the reef cam. Last time I couldn't really see much, but there is quite a bit growing now. Also, there are lots and lots of bluebeards in waiting hanging out on top of the mooring block...that is why we see so many of them!
