Any suggestions [I.E. name and contact information] as to a guide or driver [taxi] who might offer a trip within Washington Slagbaai Park?

1 to 1 1/2 hours at Wayaka is a requirement. I'm looking primarily for transportation, familiarity with the roads within the park and a person who could watch the land camera [long lens telephoto] while I am snorkeling at Wayaka.

you will have no problem with the roads. There are only two roads (Okay, a few side ones) and they are one way. send an e mail to chritiedovale@hotmail.com and she may be able to act as a guide.

Thanks Michael: At 69 years old, I'm a bit cautious of snorkeling alone at remote spots like Wayaka.

I will send her an E-mail and see if she would be interested.

Also,Pos Mangel, Salida Wayaka, and Put Bronswinkel sound like great spots to use my long telephoto for bird shots; but I would be concerned about leaving that camera in a rental vehicle while snorkeling.

One other question. Do your rental phones work in the remote regions of the park like those mentioned above?

Yes, the phones work all over the island.
