Can anyone tell me what car rental service honors AMEX cards? I know some of them don't. The insurance thing I suspect.

Everts (www.evertscarrental.com) accepts AMEX. I've used them for 6 years and have received fast friendly service and reliable cars.

Telerin Car Rental just informed me that she (Poppy the owner) will acept my A/M card for our rental in Oct. She didn't acept it on our last trip in May 05.... Ron

A&B takes AMEX. At least they did in September. It Was the first time I've used A&B. Will do so again. No hassles. They have a new repeat customer. And I have lots of friends and family! LOL

Guy, try emailing them and ask. Most of the major rentals (Budget, AB) will accept it so I would imagine Hertz would as well.
