Hi everyone,

I will be visiting Bonaire for the second time between August 14th and 25th. I will not be renting a car and was thinking that the best way to see the island would be on an organized tour.

This company seems to be new and I have not heard much about them. They use Land Rovers to cover the rough terrain in the Kunuku and the Park.

Has anyone on the board used them? I would love to hear a report.

If anyone has already booked a tour Aug. 14-25 and needs an extra body to get the minimum number of people for an excursion, please get in touch with me, I might like to join you! Check out my previous posts to get an idea of my personality, I am VERY easy-going.

Hope to meet some new friends! :-)

Hi, Lisa. I haven't experienced the outfit but if you go on the seven hour tour be certain you find a way to stay cool. you have been to Bonaire before so you know how warm (hot, actually) it can get during the daytime.

You will be on Bonaire for a nice length of time, you lucky lady!!

Their tours sound interesting, tho. Some of these spots you could do on your own with a car rental but not all. Carole

That's just it! Last time, I came for 7 days. Two days of which were spent traveling, leaving only 5 days to snorkel and rest. The farthest I got out of Kralendijk last time was Andrea I!

The early morning bird tour interested me the most. Since I am traveling solo, I didn't feel it would be safe to go into the park alone in unfamiliar territory. These tours sound perfect for solo travelers or people who don't drive.

You are right about the heat though!

A wide-brimmed hat, icy water and wet kerchiefs on the neck are the order of the day for those 7-hour tours. Thanks, Carole.
