Hi All,

We'll be getting to Bonaire next Wednesday (the 13th) -- can't WAIT!!

Our plane gets in around 5:30 p.m., so I imagine that it won't give us enough time to get to a grocery store. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend anything like a convenience store where we can grab some minimal supplies when we arrive -- e.g., loaf of bread, OJ, beer :-) ?

Thanks much!

Mary

We'll be arriving around that time on the 12th. First time! I'm looking for the same info. Tips anyone?

You also might want to try the small convenience store at Lisa Gas. I only mention this because I believe Bud closes the Sand Dollar Grocery by 6:00 p.m..

Susan, when are you leaving?

You might also contact the place where you are staying; sometimes they will provide a few things to tide you over.

Check on www.infobonaire.com for grocery stores. They have a section that gives open hours and days open.

The convenience store at Lisa Gas is open till 10:00 p.m. every day (even Sunday) - or at least that is what they told us back in March. They have saved us many a time when we were too late to hit a "regular" store and they are always very friendly.
