How long will it take to cycle from Kralendijk to Lac Cai? What about the road?

road to east side of island is 2 lane straight paved, then go north winding 1 1/2 lane paved then east along 1 lane winding dirt chuck hole rock ridden cactus infested trail. its rough and dusty. I mountain bike and would think twice before going to lac cai.
you should have tire repair practice from the cactus after that trip! I cant estimate time, but it can be driven in 1 hour + in a car
