Call AB Rentals and they will actually make some concessions. I was going to use Budget or National, since I had points and stuff from business ventures. AB bent over backwards to beat them all. They threw in the car seat and waived the second driver charge, not to mention beating everybody elses discount rate by 10%. Besides you would be supporting the local economy. One word of warning, get the insurance from them at 10.00/day. Your visa insurance will not cover trucks (like the Toyota Hilux). Also if you venture into the Washington Slagbaai park the insurance won't cover you there, so drive carefully.

PS-Do it ahead, but book for fewer days than you might actually need. Weekly rates are the best.
