We were on Island from 1/8 to 1/22 and had many good meals. A review of some follows:

Cactus Blue - Perhaps our favorite this trip. Don't miss the Island Burger or the seared tuna. Also the barracuda is excellent. I had homemade key lime pie twice and can attest to its great taste.

Richards - Still one of the best locations on the Island and always good food. His wahoo this year with a mango sauce was my favorite.

City Cafe - If you want a great burger visit City Cafe. Also, my wife had the fish fajitas and said they were wonderful.

Wils Tropical Grill - The smoked blue marlin appetizer is fantastic. I also enjoyed the barracuda and my wife had wahoo which was a little dry but tasty.

Donna & Georgio - If you want a great evening visit on Friday night. They have a great jazz singer every Friday. I had mussels with pasta and it was perfect. My friends had lasagna and pronounced it to be good, I noticed the plate was perfectly clean.

We did not eat at La Barca but friends did and reported it to be the best Italian Restaurant on Island. This is hearsay but I trust their judgment and plan to go there on our next visit.

La Barca is a great up & coming restaurant and I certainly wish them the best. We were very impressed with our meal there this summer and are also planning on eating there again in March. But it hasn't yet really attained the gastronomic excellence at Capriccio. Of course IMHO. Everyone has their favorites.
