Anyone know who has the best ceviche on the island? A fairly large group of us will be staying for the next 2 weeks and many LOVE CEVICHE!

I had it at Sense and Unbelievable - - I dont think you'd be unhappy with either - both good, but Sense was as good as I've ever had it very very fresh, great flavors, large amount, great price...

The ceviche at Plazita Limena was the best we've ever had and we've tried it at a lot of places. That said, we have not had it at Unbelievable or Sense.

we had a trio at It Rains Fishes- a HUGE amount for a starter. We could have made a meal of it. It was good.

I agree with Vince about Plazita Limena. However, I must say it was different than any other ceviche I ever had before. Having been in both Costa Rica, Belize, Mexico, and Honduras, I found the Peruvian ceviche a bit different than the traditional central American ceviche. I won't get into how it is different, but it is. Try it, you'll like it.

Paradise Moon. Having it alongside the water (restaurant is on the north side of the Harbor Village marina) makes it even better.

I've always loved the ceviche at Plazita Limena, and it's still good, but they've changed it a bit. Not as much bite as it used to have. They've also changed their Tiradito Pescado, but I haven't tried it yet. Apparently they have two new cooks just in from Peru so a lot of their dishes are now more authentic.

I spoke with one of the locals who said the best ceviche is now at Rum Runner's, of all places. I didn't really want to eat there, so I didn't try, but would be curious to hear opinions if anyone has had the ceviche there.
