Does anyone know the current status? We tried to go there twice for lunch and they were closed both times. My wife is dying for their hummus and felafel.

Vince, the fellow who had Amir Shoarma sold it to some other folks who renamed it Shoarma Palace. However, why they might not be open, I don't have a clue.

Oh man is this the place upstairs on the second floor across from the Motorcycle place. We could always count on him for a late gyro dinner after a night dive.

The guy that was there before, when it was still called Amir shoarma, now serves at the cantina of the medical school saint james. He's there everyday till about two o clock. I think he's the best!!! You can call him for an order at 796-5807 or just pass by. btw, his name is wahid (his sons name is Amir. ps; if you ask him he'll also prepare vegetarian shoarma which is really good.

Hi Michael,
When you walk up the parking lot at snt james, it is a small, square building at the left end side. It is right in front of the school.

Didn't raja leave the island? If he's still here, please let me know. I loved their food!!

Hey Barbel, how's everything?

It seems Raja is still very much on the island. Check out the link below to an article from last Saturday's EXTRA which tells about how he's now a Kunukero.

Seeing Raja was always a highlight of our trip. Such a nice man, and such a good restaurant.
