Are reservations required? We are planning breakfast and lunch in our condo but will be dining out each evening. We enjoy a good meal but want to take advantage of the freedom that Bonaire offers. I'm not much to live be a schedule on vacation.

Thanks,

We only made a reservation once for Wil's on a friday night, and we were there during Karnaval and presidents week. if there are only 2 of you i dont think its a major deal, but thats just our experience. (we also eat kind of early...6 ish)

Reservations are not always needed but are always appreciated.
At the more popular places you may be turned away.

We always manage to find somewhere to eat without making reservation. If we know we want to eat at a particular place that get's busy (like Mona Lisa's) or has limited space we pop in a night or 2 ahead and book.

Make reservations if at all possible..if you don't have a phone, I am more than happy to let anyone who wishes use my phone...just pass by..

I agree with Michael, make reservations; particularly during high season.

Only place we've ever made a reservation was for Richards, but we have had to wait a bit a few times on a bar stool....woe is me, woe is me.

Woe is me too.
I stay at the place next door to Richard's.
You could not ask for a better neighbor, even if he makes you wait on a stool :)
Gotta remember to get a reservation for the pier table, as it's anniversary #26.

Grunt, Git r' done...ya wanna make it to #27 right?

The last four trips I've gone in January (cause I don't die of heat stroke) and for places like Capriccio's, Bistro, etc. reservations are pretty much required unless ya wanna eat LATE...i'm konked out by then. Pasa Bon...call ahead for take out...they be busy too

Someone that lives there, probably Mr. Gaynor, explained that a reservation not only reserves a table for xx number of people, but also allows the restaurant to plan ahead and thus be able to better accommodate the patrons.
It made sense to me.
And #26 is only a start!
