My husband is having withdrawals...had a great aged Gouda cheese that we got at Cultimara.
Anyone know where to get the equivalent?
I've looked at some Dutch web sites that sell cheese but it doesn't look like the brand we had in Bonaire.

thanks

Hi Nhumey.

When my husband and I lived in Vail (Co.)...we used to order it from a company named Winchester Cheese Company (out of Winchester California). This is a Dutch couple who started a company (farm) and is now doing Gouda cheeses. The quality was excellent (my husband was born here and I've lived here a while...so we know :-) and very similar to what you'd find here. We also like the aged gouda and we would order the slightly matured which was similar to the older of the three sold here. Their e-mail address is sales@winchestercheese.com

Good luck :-)
Annette

Check out Trader Joe's if they have one in your area. I got some of the aged (hard) Gouda and some smoked Gouda at one of our local TJ's.
