Bit of a blow yesterday :-)))))))))

Thursday pm the wind came up and we had a superb sail for a couple of hours. Our boys sailed the sun away and came home in the dark. Fri am forecast was for more so we hit the beach at 8:00am and it was perfect. 2 hours of flat water blasting then the lightning brought us down to earth. Sam and me waited up by the reef at almost Lac Cai and the storm hit. Wind shifted Southerly and we blasted back in one tack. 48 km/hr on the GPS all the way. Real bottom twitching stuff....

Nothing this morning (Saturday) despite Windguru and Windfinder both claiming a perfect morning. More rain I suspect......

The Redlines have left the Bay. Currently in Amsterdam waiting for the next flight. 5 weeks in Lac Bay were still wonderful despite the lac (sic) of wind proving the Island still has it's allure and appeal. Wind would have been better but.....

Our last few hours were spent maxed out on the 8.2 at 45 km/hr thraping back and forward refusing to change down. Even Carole hammered the 7.0

Arms currently stretched and glowing so roll on Dec 10th when we go back........

We got some baby turtle pix to post so check out the relevant link later.......
