diver Hi Eileen. Glad you had a good dive yesterday - were you warm enough. Can't wait to see whatever you got for pictures, too. Where did you dive, or did I miss this part? (Love that first jellyfish gif. Must be from Vegas!)

Believe it or not, I was warm! 1Even getting in the water I was OK! We dove in Marmora On, Crowe River. It's an easy dive, great for beginners. Some people do there open water there. We wanted to feed some fish too, no fish though.2

Morning all. Alive and well in Buffalo if that is even possible. Can't wait to go home and sleep in my own bed, which will have to wait till tomorrow. Some neat captures over the last few days, that Tarpon shot is a classic. Well only 20 day till paradise.

1My husband just got up, so time to shower and get some groceries and plants. I have a couple of planters I would like to plant up. I do not think we will garden this year. We should be getting grass any day now. (I've been saying that for the last few days too!) Have a great morning everyone!
1 Divers coming?

Here I am thinking to get some for groceries as I am going grocery shopping later.:-) My dad opened up a couple of clam/mussels at the bottom, usually fish come right away to feed. But no fish to be found2. Could be because it is springtime.

fishjump Our pond goldfish are going mental - jumping and humping all over the waterplants. It's definitely breeding season for them - they are laying their sticky little translucent eggs all over the Lysimachia nummularia (pennywort} that trails into the water around the edge of BoxerBob's pond. (I found this on the web, under invasive plants, my favorite kind of wildflowers!)

I love water gardens. My parents have one, they have one big goldfish in it - it became that size because my dad loves to feed it worms.
I'm off now, got my diver fix, hope to find some nice plants1
Have a great day Rusty! Have a great day everyone, will probably pop back in later!

It's...

Senior Citizens Day

Senior citizens make up about 10% of the users on the internet. But, that number grows larger every day as older people get their first computers and start having fun in cyberspace. They are proof that the quote from Les Brown is true... "You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." anything

garden It's gorgeous here in Western MA, Eileen. I did some planting also. It's not too hot, not too cold and the mosquitoes haven't hatched out yet. As soon as they do I start my annual griping about the lack of purpose of biting insects in the big picture. Phhht.

2 I never have much luck with columbine - I plant a half dozen nice plants, wind up with one tiny one the following year. They don't seem to like the spot I have for them in the front of the perennial bed.

3 I did get some blue columbine flowers last year so I let them go to seed and tossed the seeds into a couple pots to overwinter. Wound up with about fifty plants three inches high. So I took half today and planted them around BBs small upper pond. Ran the sprinkler to get them started and will hope for the best. Free is free. LOL

Hello, Everybody! Today is my last day to chat before leaving for Cozumel , where at this moment it is 91 degrees and feels like 102, and rain is forecast for the entire week we are there.p What was I thinking?

Margarite, where are you staying in Cozumel?? I was there when I was 9:-). We stayed at El Cozumeleno (The resort still exists.) My husband and I would like to stay at the Reef Club Hotel(I think that is the name.)

My neighbors will be taking care of my kittiesp and my many purple flowers that I planted this year.....(it's contagious). My very favorite flower is the columbine, Rusty.p

I have some in the yard that belonged to my Missouri Grandmother. They are "wild" red and yellow. Then I also have some all yellow ones that are considered Texas natives. This year I planted some new hybrids that are what color I don't know, since they didn't bloom. Hope they do something next year.

Eileen, we are staying at the Reef Club. Came highly recommended by HarleyAnna.(kelli) It isn't Bonaire, but is a fairly cheap and quick trip for us. Jimmy is promising me two weeks in Bon this Sept.

They had a fire not long ago that caused some concern, but have supposedly rebuilt and are rockin' again. We used to worship Cozumel until we became Bonaire Converts. Coz is now second choice. ( more heat, more bugs, rougher water, and there's that little drinking water concern.) But this will be our third trip, and each time we stayed at resorts on the South end of the island near the Palancar Reef....thus a shorter boat trip on potentially rough water. Reef Club had the least expensive all inclusive package this time. The EL COzumelena has a very loyal following among non-divers who are not concerned with a long boat ride to the better dive sights.
