Freddie I actually got to meet Maria today. She lives near to the hospital. We had a great time. We had and some and she showed me the video she took in New Zealand. It was really lovely and we just the whole time. Annie B.

It was great meeting you at last Annie, and catching up, we should have done it sooner.

Also I hear you met up with Rusty, Freddie, that's great, I hope you all had a great time, I'm sure you did.
Well the time went so quick in NZ, and now I,m home it seems like it was all a dream. I finally met my little grandson and spent most of that precious time getting to know him, although my son did take us out a bit, but not so easy for my daughter with a new born. It was heartbreaking when we had to finally say goodbye,but Ive taken lots of pics and film. Still a bit jet lagged, such a long journey, but all went well.

It will take me a bit of time to catch up with all the threads, after a month, but I hope everyone is well.

We're back from 5 days Curacao... and boy am I glad to. Too much people, too much traffic, too much polution, etc., etc.
I did come back happy though, as I was able to buy a new digital camera there! The results will start to appear soon, either here or on our yet-to-be-revamped website

Great these digital camera's, My daughter found a good web site in NZ that she emailed her best photo shots to, and within 2 days they had sent her photo's back by post.(that way no wasted photo's) I havent got one yet, but am thinking about it.

Freddie, the baby's name is Ryan Paul. he was just starting to smile a bit when we were there, but my daughter informs me today that he is smiling more now and a few coo's.(just coming up for 6 weeks old now)

This Baby shower, they have that in NZ too, but it was quite new to me. Annie do they have that over here too.?

Also we got home, to another baby in the family, my daughter here, had bought a new black labrador puppy.

Maria, No I do not recall having anything like a baby shower over here. Shame, it sounds like it would be fun. Oh boy Tanya got a Labrador puppy? She better let it know who is the boss, they are rather prone to chewing everything in site. But once well trained they are a very very good dog. . Annie B.

45 and a wake up

Hi Cecil and Cynde,
Cecil, not so much of a sight seeing holiday this time, although we were there 2 years ago and saw more then, and it is a truly beautiful country, lovely landscapes,and sunsets. especially from my daughters balcony which overlooks a lake and hills in the background. We did go away for a couple of weekends,with my son who is over there too,and enters 2 border collies into agility competitions and travels to different parts of the county at weekends.(Good way to see the country as he has just recently emigrated) This weekend he is going to Wellington, about about 6 hours away from where he lives)
Although we were there in their Autumn it was still nice and warm in the day, they get a lot of sunshine. but also a lot of rain too. One weekend it absolutely poured but they still carried on the competition in the rain, they were soaked through, but it seemed a warm kind of rain, not like here.


Annie I know what you mean, they have put up gates up all over the place.
