egg Well, that was weird. :-) Went down to make some omelettes and lately I've been using Eggbeaters - no yolks and so easy to pour, cook and eat. I got a surprise when I poured in an alternative product I picked up on sale. It's called All Whites and I *assumed* that they were the same as Eggbeaters. Ugh - they looked very weird. I figured the carton had gone bad. My omelette looked like meringue, but it tasted fine with some chili and ham and cheese on top.

chicken

What kind of chickens lay all white eggs, I wonder?

I love the looks of these jacks:

Hi Rusty. Excuse me for asking, but why would you make an omelette and not use the yolks. That is the best part. Annie B. anything

eggs Annette - calories, and fat, my darling. If you use just the whites, or better yet, Eggbeaters, you save 100% of the fat (it's all in the yolks) and you're down to 30 calories per *egg*. And I never really liked the yolks. When I was a kid, my Momz would fry eggs for my Dad and he would cut all the whites off and eat just the (hard) yolks. I would ALWAYS steal the whites off his plate and eat those. Very efficient! LOL

egg

Large Eggs: 75 calories, 4.5 grams of fat
Eggbeaters: 30 calories, 0 grams of fat

eat I can eat a WAY BIGGER omelette if I use the whites only. :-)

Thought is was something like that Rusty. I think I burn all the calories off as soon as I've eaten them. LOL Annie B.

Glad to see Rusty answered and you got the right info anyway...Next time I will just read and not type....UB

It's...

Alfred Hitchcock Day

One of the greatest film directors in history, this Englishman (who became an American citizen) valued suspense over shock and kept audiences on the edge of their seats through 50 movies and years of television shows. Never winning an Academy Award, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1979. How many people stopped taking showers after seeing "Psycho" is unknown! anything

amish

Amos and Eli were out hunting one day when Eli all but fell into a deep dark hole. Hey Amos, what do you reckon this hole is? asked Eli. Amos said it was an old mine shaft. How deep you figger it is? asked Eli. Amos suggested they throw in a rock and listen for it to hit bottom. They did, but never heard it hit. So they decided to throw in a bigger rock. Still nothing. Let us fuind something real big suggested Amos. Soon Eli was dragging an lod railroad tie out of the woods and the two Amishmen heaved it into the hole. A moment later, a goat sped past them and jumped into the hole. What was that? Eli asked. Looked like a goat, but I never seen one move so fast, replied Amos.

Shortly, an old timer sauntered out of the woods and asked the two Amishmen if they had seen a goat. Amos told about the goat that had raced by them and jumped into the hole. The oldtimer replied, That couldn't have been my goat. He wouldn't have been able to run that fast tied to that old railroad tie.

I will have to pass on any possum chili. Pass me the goats head stew instead.

We went to the theaters today and found that the producers are unwilling to negotiate with the musicians at all. Lots of people at loose ends in the city, but 15 musicians, the producers "final" offer, simply does not make an orchestra.
As for the virtual orchestra, you might as well have a kazoo band, they would be better. It's hard enough getting a show right with a live orchestra and everybody paying attention.

Stupid producers Seb. It isn't a proper show without a proper orchestra.

anything Annie B.

In 2000 the musicians struck the State Theater at Lincoln Center. The Ballet did the Nutcracker with a tape for the season and the musicians lost in the settlement. This emboldened the Broadway producers to seek reductions with this contract. But 14 people are simply not an orchestra to me - maybe a band, I suppose.
