Rain coming here too, since we get pretty much the same stuff as Rusty, just an hour or two later, and somewhat moderated by the ocean. Just changed the wiper blades on the car. All the ice and frost on the windshield over the winter really chewed them up.

Now it's off to the dentist.

The combers are still crashing in.

It's...

Bridge Players Day

And just who started all of that bidding? Probably the English! They had a game called Trump back in the 1500s. This turned into Whist and became popular with the upper-class in the middle 1700s. Whist went through many changes, but ended up being the contract bridge game played today. anything

Good Luck at the Dentist, John

Not too bad weather-wise up north. Is colder than it looks. Had a few spots of rain, but nothing distressing [or wetting]. Bit grey though mainly bright. weather

Thanks for pointing that out , Rusty.(referring to above)

Now about those mouseketeers....I noticed that ,too, but didn't want to point out the merely obvious. A very clever costume idea! Did anyone actually miss that? I thought everyone was just being polite.

jump I was thinking it's kind of funny for the preacher to be there amongst the rabble and the breast exams - but it's probably the closest place to Sodom and Gomorrah he could find that has a cam and no cover charge.

Hi Sally! I laughed too.

Thought it was a clever idea, but not sure I would do it. Of course down-town Manchester is not the place to do it either [cept around Canal Street maybe], and there looked the right place to do it, and the right time.

They are DEFINITELY more brave than I'd be...especially on cams around the world! I'd be wearing a mask for sure!

I guess that's the best thing about Mardi Gras...you can do things you wouldn't normally do!

Hi Rusty, Margarite, Sally, Jenni, Eileen, Annette & John,

Mr. Bill did not miss the clever Mickey Mouse shirts. Just great admiration and appreciation in silence!!! Thanks for re-posting them Jenni - they certainly are deserving a second look!

And welcome back to Janeece daaawling from NZ who showed up on last night's thread.

Miserable winter weather today. No Mickey mouse shirts in sight.

Bill

artist Annie - choose the background FIRST - then go to the usual circle deformation. :-) Just dbl-click on the lower right square in the pallette.

LOL!!! We had such fun at Mardi Gras! Wish we had a Hangover Cam.....we'd see the ugly results .

Would I wear that costume? Wellllll......maybe under the right circumstances.....the mask would be a must, Rusty , Annie , Jenni and the rest of you would have to do it with me, and I would have to imbibe copious quantities of liquid courage !

Annie I had the same, at first. I went on a palette looking thingy on the right hand side, and changed that mustard coloured background to white, and then it is all right. Well, the white doesn;t show up on the chat thread, but does on the webcam thread [cos background is now grey, of course].

Hope this helps

Sally - But a knitted nose warmer would be required - totally spoiling the effect!!

The all-natural red-heads of BT should get those shirts and get to the street cam!!

And you wouldn't need Jenni to provide support - 'cause she'd be there!

Bill & BillBot - Two perv's are better than one.
