It's...

Boot Hill Day

About This Holiday

Yes, it's Dodge City and Wyatt Earp!
There was no law enforcement during the early years, but there were plenty of buffalo hunters, railroad workers and soldiers - and plenty of gunfights. Boot Hill was where they were "buried with their boots on". It's the most famous cemetery of the American West.

A new month!

Time for some new wisdom

From the cynics calendar: Individuality:
always remember that you are unique. Just like everybody else.

From yoga: Thoughts are energy, and you can make your world or break your world by your thinking.

Whatever!!

Peace and Ommmm's and sesame oil alllllllll over!!

Just heard last night that a very close friend living in Victoria BC just had an emergency frontal brain tumor operation.

Bill

Bill, that's tough news. I hope he's doing ok now... And remember the words of a great wise man. He learned us "Thoughts are energy, and you can make your world or break your world by your thinking.", so think positive and things will work out fine!

Yikes! winter descends.

Started out not bad this morning. Above freezing, a few inches of fresh snow. just heard the weather report -20C before the end of the day and high winds due to the extreme temperature differential. looked outside - white out!!

Hunker down - ground hog roasting on the open fire...............

No guns in this Canadian household. Just have to ring his neck!

have a delightful day,

Bill
